Cancellation Policy

1. General Terms

All reservations at Samskara Retreats are subject to the cancellation and refund terms outlined below. By making a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Cancellation policies may vary based on the type of booking, room category, rate plan selected, and seasonal considerations. The specific cancellation terms applicable to your reservation will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

2. Room Reservations

Cancellation terms for room reservations depend on the rate type selected at the time of booking:

• Flexible Rate: Cancellation terms as specified in your booking confirmation. Generally, cancellations made within a specified period before check-in may incur charges.
• Advance Purchase / Non-Refundable Rate: These rates are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be provided for cancellations, no-shows, or early departures.
• Special Packages & Promotional Rates: Subject to specific terms communicated at the time of booking. These may be partially or fully non-refundable.

3. Event & Celebration Bookings

For weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, cancellation terms are governed by the signed event agreement. Standard terms include:

• Initial deposits are non-refundable and serve to secure the date and venue.
• Cancellation charges increase progressively as the event date approaches.
• Cancellations within 30 days of the event may result in forfeiture of the full booking amount.
• Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. No-Shows

Failure to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notification will be treated as a no-show. No-shows are charged the full reservation amount, and the reservation will be cancelled without refund.

5. Early Departure

Guests who depart before their scheduled check-out date will be charged for the full reserved stay. No refunds or credits will be provided for unused nights.

6. Modifications

Requests to modify reservation dates, room types, or guest details are subject to availability and may result in rate adjustments. Modifications to non-refundable bookings may not be permitted or may incur additional charges.

7. Force Majeure

Samskara Retreats shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, civil unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events. In such cases, we will work with guests to reschedule bookings subject to availability, but refunds are not guaranteed.

8. Refund Processing

Where refunds are applicable, they will be processed to the original payment method within 14-21 business days. Refund amounts may be reduced by applicable processing fees, currency conversion differences, and any services already rendered.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from cancellations or refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Guests agree to attempt resolution through direct communication with our reservations team before pursuing any legal remedies.

10. Policy Amendments

Samskara Retreats reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your booking will govern your reservation. For clarification on specific terms, please contact our reservations team.
